According to the producer of colour pastes and lacquers for the plastics industry, the new triple roller technology enables the manufacture of a greater range of products. In addition, the automated machine control guarantees high reproducibility of product features, independent of operating staff, while the continuous automated production control ensures consistent quality.

Thanks to optimised cooling, positive results are also achieved in terms of environmental protection. These new machines require substantially less electricity than older models due to the use of an improved, closed-circulation cooling system with an internal heat exchanger.

“The new triple rollers function to our complete satisfaction and operate much more smoothly than the older models. This considerably lessens noise exposure for the operators. Optimised safety features also improve work safety substantially”, Thorsten Lesemann, plant manager at ISL, concludes after a successful first year.

In the meantime, a further unit likewise developed by Bühler AG from Switzerland has been put into operation. Bühler specialises in process technologies for chemical engineering, among other fields.

After making a substantial investment in the expanded machine park, ISL now possesses a wide variety of state-of-the-art equipment for the production of colour pastes and lacquers for the plastics industry.
