Chemtura to increase price of polymer antioxidants and rubber additives

Chemtura Corporation is raising the price of the products supplied by its polymer antioxidants and UV stabiliser business, reportedly as the result of an increase in key materials costs, increased volatility, and limited availability of key raw materials.

Effective on all deliveries after 15 March 2011, or as contract terms allow, the price of the polymer antioxidants and rubber additives will be increased by up to 10 %. These increases are in addition to the previously announced increases, says Chemtura.
