Styron announces leadership team

Chris Pappas, the new President and CEO of Styron, recently announced the company’s executive leadership team. Curtis Shaw has been named EVP and General Counsel.

Shaw previously worked at Celanese Corp. In addition, a number of former Dow executives moved into Styron executive roles: Jeff Denton as VP, feedstocks and corporate services, Celso Goncalves as VP and CFO, Marco Levi as VP and General Manager of emulsion polymers, Paul Moyer as VP and General Manager of plastics, Catherine Maxey as VP, public affairs, government affairs and business intelligence, Francoise Schouten as VP, Director of Human Resources, and Mark Remmert as executive consultant to the CEO. Remmert previously served as interim CEO of Styron within Dow, prior to Pappas being named to the role.
