Toolkit - REACH for Polymers
REACH for Polymers, a 30-month project funded by LIFE+, the Financial Instrument for the Environment, will develop a toolkit to guide the user through the entire process, from understanding individual requirements all the way through to which tests to perform, registration and best practice.
The project aims to lessen the economic burden on polymer companies through the provision of knowledge, tools and techniques to guide them swiftly through the process of complying with the REACH regulation, says iSmithers.
The first results of the project are now available and a ‘State of the Art’ report detailing trends, sources of information, current status and methods is now available to download from www.reachforpolymers.eu.
The REACH for Polymers consortium comprises partners from across European and is managed by Rapra Limited (UK) and includes ASCAMM (Spain),), CASO (Portugal), PROPLAST (Italy), PEP (France), SIRRIS (Belgium) and PIEP (Portugal).
