RUSSIA: Sibur registers Turkish, Ukraine units
The Turkish subsidiary will sell polypropylene (PP) produced by Sibur’s new Tobolsk Polymer complex, while the Ukraine unit will sell PP produced by Tomskneftekhim and Tobolsk Polymer.
Tobolsk Polymer is building a 500,000-t/y PP plant as part of what Sibur has identified as its “largest project to date”. Tomskneftekhim currently has 130,000 t/y of PP capacity and has announced plans to boost capacity to 140,000 t/y.
