CAMBODIA: RISDA to open two plantations in Cambodia
He said discussions had been held with the companies that would be tasked with managing the plantations last week.
"The Malaysian government has given its approval for the project and we have appointed a consultant for the purpose, including on the setting up of an office there.
"We are now awaiting approval from the Cambodian government," he told the media.
Besides Cambodia, he said, RISDA was also looking for opportunities to open its plantation in Mindanao, in the Philippines.
