Cooper Standard names Miziolek Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Cooper-Standard has announced the appointment of Aleksandra A. Miziolek as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, effective 3 February 2014.

She will report to Jeffrey S. Edwards, the company’s chairman and CEO. Miziolek succeeds Timothy W. Hefferon, who is retiring after serving as Cooper Standard’s Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since 2004. Hefferon will continue as a senior legal officer on a transitional basis until June 2014. With over 30 years of experience advising automotive companies, Miziolek joins Cooper Standard from Dykema Gossett, PLLC, a Detroit law firm.
