Henniges Automotive acquires Nomaseal

Henniges Automotive has completed the acquisition of Nomaseal s.r.o. The supplier of automotive weatherseals has a manufacturing facility in Hranice, Czech Republic, and a sales and technical center in Viersen, Germany. Henniges said that this transaction will strengthen its ability to provide technical support and manufacturing expertise to European customers and global programs. Nomaseal is a specialist in TPE static sealing systems. The company designs, develops and manufactures TPE weatherseals for automobiles.

"The Nomaseal company provides an excellent complement to Henniges Automotive," Robert DePierre, CEO of Henniges Automotive commented. "With this acquisition, Henniges will be able to provide sealing system products and services for our customers who have been requesting an expanded global reach, showcase our capabilities to attract customers located in the European markets, and continue to support current customers with the attention to quality they have come to expect."

With the addition of Nomaseal, Henniges will operate 13 manufacturing plants and 5 engineering and technology centers in North America, Europe and China. World headquarters for Henniges Automotive is located in Farmington Hills, MI, USA.
