Albis Plastic and Eastman expand partnership
The company's distribution rights for the Turkish plastics market are valid as of October 2014. This agreement expands the long-standing partnership between Albis and Eastman, which continues to enjoy great success in many areas of Europe.
The additional copolyester products – Durastar, Eastalloy, Eastar, Aspira, Tritan, and Provista – are ideal additions to the existing portfolio, says Albis. “This step is in line with our strategic approach of working to provide the complete range of thermoplastic products to customers in all markets,” explained Hans Rukes, Managing Director of Albis Plastic TR. “Thanks to our market penetration, we believe we have excellent prospects of successfully marketing Eastman Products within Turkey as well.”
“In working closely with Albis as a distribution partner in this expanded territory we are underlining our Pan-European distributor strategy allowing us to serve beyond our current reach”, said Reinier de Graaf, Regional Business Director Specialty Plastics EMEA of Eastman Chemical Company.
