Assocomaplast celebrates 50 years

The Italian plastics and rubber processing machinery and moulds manufacturers’ association Assocomaplast recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.

The Italian association was was founded in Milan on 28 September 1960 comprising a group of eight companies. Shortly after, Assocomaplast, together with French and German national associations, promoted the creation of the European association for plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers Euromap. Today, Assocomaplast has 143 active members, representing around 90 % of the Italian sector’s turnover.
