PCC SE acquires PU systems house in Poland

With the acquisition of Prodex System Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, Poland, PCC SE strengthens its activities in Central and Eastern Europe – in countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic, the Ukraine, the Baltic states and the CIS countries.

The business activities of Prodex focus primarily on rigid and semi-rigid PU foam systems for thermal and acoustic insulation. According to PCC, the acquisition will broaden the company’s technology portfolio, allowing to enhance its tailored solution offerings. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

PCC products are developed and manufactured at the company´s production sites in Poland, PCC Rokita S.A. and PCC Synteza S.A., and at the laboratories of US-based PCC Chemax. Internationally, the PCC Group, headquartered in Duisburg, Germany, is organised into three major group divisions: Chemicals, Energy, and Logistics. PCC today employs approximately 2,200 staff with some 70 subsidiaries and affiliates in 13 countries.
