Price adjustment for engineering plastics

Lanxess is to increase its prices for Pocan in Europe, the Middle East and Africa effective 1 December 2010. The company announced that the price increase will be at least EUR 0.20 per kg for Pocan compounds (Polybutylenterephthalate compounds).

According to Lanxess, the price adjustment has become unavoidable, because the costs of raw materials have risen significantly.

Pocan is used in numerous applications in the automotive and electrical/electronics industries.
