Goodyear names new President for the North ­American Tire business

Stephen R. McClellan, 45, has been appointed President of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s North American Tire business unit. He succeeds Curt Andersson, who will pursue other professional interests. McClellan will continue to be responsible for North American Tire’s consumer tyre business until a successor is named.

McClellan has spent his entire career at Goodyear since joining the company in 1988. In 2001, he moved into the commercial tyre business, serving as President of Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems. He was promoted to Vice President, Commercial Tire Systems in 2003 and has been the President of Goodyear’s North American consumer tyre business since 2008.
