D3O expands Technology and Innovation team

Three new team members have joined D3O's Technology department, based at the company's head office in Brighton, UK. Grazyna Nitchener joins D3O as resident PU consultant.

With more than 20 years experience in developing PU materials, Nitchener will lead the material development for the sports footwear market. Alkis Karaolis joins the Product Design and Development team as Senior Product Designer. Karaolis has more than seven years experience in industrial and engineering design as well as in injection moulding. Renata Valenca joins D3O as Senior Polymer Chemist. Working with multinational organisations including Dow and Invista, Valenca has developed new applications for PU products as well as new techniques to characterise molecular, compositional, rheological, and thermodynamic properties of polymers.
