Klaus Backer has been appointed as new Managing Director of Sonderhoff Engineering GmbH in Hörbranz, Austria, effective from 26 July 2013.

He looks back on a career as sales manager for several international companies in the machine construction and tool making industry. In his last position at a machinery and plant manufacturing company for the production of ceramic and powder metallurgical production in Bavaria, Germany, he was responsible as international sales director for a double-digit million turnover.
