Plasticiser for low-temperature flexible rubber products
Vulkanol VP RUC 9210 improves the low-temperature flexibility of technical rubber products and replaces the company’s phthalate-containing Vulkanol 81. Lanxess says the new plasticiser features a similar price-performance ratio to its predecessor and both products are interchangeable in many cases without making any changes to the formulation. As well as thio and carboxylic acid esters, the formulation for the previous plasticiser also contained DEHP. This di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate is no longer used in the formulation for VP RUC 9210.
