Dow Hyperlast at the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition

Dow Hyperlast recently exhibited at the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition, that took place 22 – 24 February 2011 in San Antonio, TX, USA. The company says it has pioneered flow assurance insulation technology 25 years ago and has since been involved in more than 500 successful offshore projects.

According to Dow Hyperlast, its flow assurance systems provide extended service life, good thermal insulation, outstanding adhesion, proven impact strength and durability in harsh working environments. In addition to flow assurance insulation, the company offers a portfolio of solutions for the oilfield, including products for drilling and completions, stimulation, cementing, production and enhanced oil recovery, as well as Aqucar water treatment microbiocides, and Filmtec SR90 nanofiltration membranes.

Dow Hyperlast says it continues to keep pace with the ever changing demands of the oil and gas industry and is currently developing next generation technology to address hotter temperature requirements. Today, the business offers pioneering solutions for flow assurance through its Hyperlast glass syntactic flow assurance systems and its Etnaflow portable mixing plant that allows for local content to be developed by local labour in the most remote locations.
