High-tech automation solutions from Fill at JEC

Product highlights at the stand of the Austrian machine engineering company Fill at JEC in Paris were the Preformliner former, the Efficiency Control Cockpit plant information system and the Ultra Sonic Inspection Linear ultrasonic inspection system.

The Preformliner former allows two-dimensional parts to be transformed into a customer-defined, three-dimensional free form in a fully automatic process. Fill says that main advantages of this machine are short cycle times, high repeatability, low-warpage textile handling, and high-precision introduction of heat into the textile.

The Efficiency Control Cockpit T-supported tool is used for data acquisition, storage, and evaluation of production systems. The Ultra Sonic Inspection Linear system is guided by the kinematics from Fill to the workpiece position to be inspected. Interfaces to standard CAD systems facilitate time-saving and cost-effective production of inspection programmes and optimise quality assurance.
