NETHERLANDS: Sabic starts up new highly automated PP extrusion line in the Netherlands
Sabic (Saudi Basic Industries Corp.) has begun operations at its new highly automated polypropylene (PP) extrusion facility in Geleen, the Netherlands.
The new extrusion line, which has adopted state-of-the-art technology, is located next to an existing polymerization plant in Geleen at the company's Global Technology Center.
Sabic started up the PP plant this past September for the production of impact grades of PP, as well as random copolymers and homopolymers. It also said it would carry out experiments on advanced catalysts.
