DKG Elastomer Symposium: 60 presentations on rubber technology

With the DKG Elastomer Symposium, the German Rubber Society (Deutsche Kautschuk-Gesellschaft e. V. – DKG) is for the first time offering an international conference in digital format from 28 June to 1 July 2021.

The event covers the full scope of rubber technology in 60 lectures. Three focus days highlight the topics sustainability, tyres, and future mobility and set current developments within these areas in context with elastomers. Special sessions deal with the modern material group of thermoplastic elastomers.

In a special session of the event, young researchers will present the results of their work. A digital poster exhibition completes the programme. Thus, the event also offers a good opportunity to connect to young people and raise the interest of potential future employees in the rubber industry.

DKG has been serving the rubber science and industry since 1926 as a non-profit organisation which unites 900 rubber experts plus 100 companies and institutes. Its mission is to promote research and science in the field of elastomer technology. DKG is also known as the organiser of the German Rubber Conference DKT, which takes place regularly since 1956. The next conference and trade fair will be held in Nuremberg, Germany, in June 2022.
