Neveon: Expansion of moulded foam production in the Czech Republic

Neveon announced that it is enlarging its capacity in the moulded foam field and for this purpose has purchased a property and appropriate production facilities in the Czech Republic. The company is a leading global integrated foam group and with its three business units Living & Care, Mobility and Specialties offers flexible, composite and technical foams for a variety of uses, which range from the comfort and mobility fields to a multitude of special applications.

With the purchase in the town of Valašské Meziříčí in the eastern Czech Republic of a 52,000 m2 premises, 18,700 m2 of which consist of production facilities (including 1,300 m2 of office space), as well as the appropriate manufacturing equipment, Neveon will expand its moulded foam output and also lay the foundation stone for a new moulded foam competence centre. As Oliver Bruns, the Neveon CEO, explained: “In particular, our new moulded foam competence centre in the Czech Republic is intended to benefit our mobility business unit and will round off our portfolio in the areas of acoustics and thermal solutions. It therefore represents an important milestone on our journey towards market leadership.”
