Stegh new spokesperson of Elastogran’s management board

As from 1 June 2007 Wolfgang Stegh will become the new spokesperson of the management board of the BASF subsidiary Elastogran GmbH, Lemfoerde, Germany. In this function he will also assume direct responsibility for all functional units such as finance, human resources, purchasing, law and engineering throughout the European Elastogran companies. Prior to his appointment Stegh was a member of the board of directors of BASF Japan in Tokyo where he was responsible for finance & corporate services. He will succeed Dr. Helmut Rödder, who has headed Elastogran since 2001 and who moved to BASF Coatings AG as a member of board and índustrial relations manager as from 1 April 2007.

Stegh, born in 1951, started his professional career with BASF in 1977. Until 1987 the graduate in business administration worked at the BASF headquarters in Ludwigshafen where he occupied various tasks in the finance and accounting departments. He also continued in these functions from 1987 to 1998 during its term at BASF New Zealand and PT BASF Indonesia. In 2001 Stegh was appointed a member of the management board of BASF Japan where he assumed responsibility for finance & corporate services in Tokyo.
