Polytec sells interior segment to Toyota Boshoku
At the same time Polytec confirmed its plan to further expand its core business (i.e. the exterior business, injection moulded products and engine components as well as motor compartment components and assemblies).
Polytec's interior segment generated revenues of approximately EUR 340 million in 2010 with around 2,000 employees. It comprises eight sites, of which six are located in Germany, one in South Africa and one in Poland. The Polytec facility in Zaragoza, Spain, will not be sold.
