Evonik to showcase latest PU additives at PUTech Eurasia

The portfolio includes Tegostab silicone stabilisers, Tegoamin amine catalysts, Kosmos metal catalysts, Gorapur release agents, Tegocolor pigments, and Ortegol performance additives. During the PUTech Eurasia 2011, Evonik will introduce its most recent product innovations:

Rigid foam

• Tegostab B 8484 is a newly developed and widely applicable surfactant, for flow demanding systems blown with HC or 141b, that offers a balanced profile.
• Tegostab B 8498 works well in various panel systems – discontinuous and continuous production, PU and PIR chemistry, metal and flexible facers – offering good surface quality.
• Tegostab B 84702 is a potent surfactant for one-component-foams, which provides high foam yield and fine cell structures.

Flexible foam

• Tegostab B 8247 is a highly active foam stabiliser providing good FR performance combined with a regular and fine cell structure. According to the company, this stabiliser can be used to pass any kind of flammability test.
• Ortegol CXT is a chain extender that can be used as a processing aid for the manufacture of many different flexible polyurethane foams.
• Ortegol FS 1 is an efficient flexible foam softening agent. Using it and decreasing the index at the same time can soften the foam up to 30 – 40 % and maintain the processing latitude.

Molded foam

• Tegostab B 8734 LF 2 is a surfactant for MDI-based foams meeting very low emanation requirements.
• Tegostab B 8745 LF 2 is a newly developed surfactant for MDI-based formulations providing good emulsification (improved MDI/system miscibility) and very low emanation levels.

Footwear and microcellular foams

• Ortegol AST 3 and AST 4 are efficient antistatic agents which allow to formulate systems, that meet safety shoe requirements regarding electrostatic discharge.
• Tegoamin AS MEG is a delayed action catalyst which increases productivity through a shorter demoulding time.

Release agents
Evonik offers Gorapur release agents from its affiliate Evonik Gorapur GmbH, Germany, to the Turkish market. The portfolio includes products for the automotive and shoe-sole-industry as well as many other PU applications.
