Era Polymers takes over Ariel Industries

The Australian firm Era Polymers Pty Ltd announced that as of 1 May 2013 it has acquired Ariel Industries Pty Ltd, a developer, manufacturer, and supplier of formulated polyurethane systems. Financial details were not disclosed.

Ariel Industries’ product portfolio includes rigid and flexible PU foam systems as well as specialised PU elastomer systems. The company will continue to provide products, customer service, and technical support from its current location in Melbourne, Australia.

Era Polymers is a privately owned business which has been manufacturing PU intermediates for 27 years, supplying products to more than 70 countries worldwide. The company operates three manufacturing sites across Sydney, Auckland and now Melbourne. In addition to rigid and flexible PU foams, it offers a product portfolio which includes a range of cast elastomer prepolymers, spray PU products, sprayable polyurea, rubber binders, timber floor coatings, as well as ancillary products and PU dispensing equipment.
