Chromaflo to launch new pigment pastes at Composites Europe 2013

Chromaflo Technologies, a global supplier of colourants and chemical dispersions for the paint, coatings, and thermoset plastics industry, announced that it will launch a number of new pigment paste product lines as well as a chemical thickener line for composite applications at Composites Europe 2013 in Stuttgart, Germany.

The new product lines for the European market include pigment pastes for unsaturated polyester (CF line), PU pultrusion (UPL line), other PU processes (DL line), epoxy (EDC-ND line), and plasticiser applications (DH line). In addition, Chromaflo Technologies also offers custom-formulated dispersions, colour matching, and toll processing. The AM line offers a number of chemical thickener dispersions for SMC and BMC applications. According to the company, AM products are among the most consistently reactive magnesium oxide dispersions available and have been designed to deliver a specific, controlled, thickening response. All new products are solvent-free and based on REACH compliant raw materials, says the company.

Chromaflo is the combination of the former Plasticolors Inc. and the Colortrend global colourants business. The company is headquartered in Ashtabula, OH, USA, and has production facilities in the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, and Australia.
