Invista to expand Terate HT polyols production in Wilmington

Invista Specialty Materials announced it will make another investment at its Wilmington, NC, USA, manufacturing site to expand its Terate HT polyols production capacity.

The expansion is expected to be complete by January 2014. Details on the size of the additional capacity were not disclosed. In August 2012, Invista had announced that it would invest in both the Wilmington, NC, USA, and Vlissingen, the Netherlands, sites to boost production of its Terate HT polyols product line. Investments at both sites were completed and commissioned last year.
