Klöckner polyPUR and Umicore to cooperate
With this contract Klöckner polyPUR has extended its range of catalysts. The distributor of isocyanates (TDI and MDI), polyols, additives, and flame retardants now offers the bismuth- and zinc-based Umicore catalysts Valikat as more environmentally acceptable alternatives to tin- and mercury-based catalysts. Applications are polyurethane coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, and flexible foam. The products are produced in the Umicore factory at Bruges, Belgium. Klöckner sells these products in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
