IPL to open new plant in Völkermarkt, Austria

In spring 2014, IPL S.p.A. will open a new manufacturing plant in Völkermarkt, in the Austrian Region of Carinthia.

The new plant will have an initial production capacity of 389 t/y and a total capacity of 1,015 t/y at the end of June 2015, when the initial phase of development will be completed. It will cover an area of 4,300 m2.

The factory will be dedicated to the production of hose and tubing in silicone, fluoropolymers and bioplastics and will serve the biopharmaceutical and food processing industries.

The investment is a new step of the process of internationalisation of IPL . The company is aiming at better serving the growing Life Division this investment provides concrete evidence of the company’s commitment towards its customers.

With this new facility IPL will broaden a portfolio of technologies, further increasing the range of products and capability to meet customers’ demands and expectations.
