Bäumer Open House on 2 October 2014 in Freudenberg

The German company Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG invites to its Open House on 2 October 2014 in Freudenberg. Bäumer is a leading manufacturer of machines and plants for the foaming industry. The main focus of the company is on special machinery for the cutting, converting, and transport of polyurethane foams and similar materials.

Bäumer will offer a factory tour, machine demonstrations, and cutting trials at its Open House.

The motto of this year’s Open House is “New technologies, advanced seminars, current PU industry trends and active networking!”.

Bäumer says it will present surprising and inspiring innovations in the field of contour cutting. Of course, cutting machines will be available for demonstrations. In the technical testing centre Bäumer will offer individual cutting tests, also with customers’ material and programmes, if requested. Factory tours will show how everyday life in the company actually looks like and how and in which single production steps cutting machines are produced.

Bäumer will highlight its innovative technologies in the field of contour cutting.

In the industry forum seven more polyurethane industry suppliers will have their own stand during the open house and will be available for meetings and consultation. Participants will be: Evonik Industries AG, Grauff GmbH, Hennecke GmbH, Laader Berg, Saba, Siemens Finance and Leasing GmbH, and Simalfa.

Bäumer says it will offer an extensive programme of seminars and workshops that will provide participants with new insights, convey valuable knowledge, and expand experience and horizons with respect to polyurethane processing and production optimisation. Subjects will be for example:

“Innovations and best practices in contour cutting”,
“Case studies of retrofits and upgrades”,
“Right combination of material and cutting tools”,
“Start-up essentials for foaming rookies and the best way from long to short block”,
“WinCAP Training”,
“Smart adhesive applications”,
“Cell openers for TDI 80 viscoelastic foam”, or
“Foam bonding adhesive technology”.

“Future trends in mattresses” is the title of the panel discussion moderated by Dr. Wolfgang Friederichs, Editor-in-Chief of PU Magazine International, Dr. Gupta Verlag, with prominent participants, which will round off the day.

According to Bäumer, the company and its partners would like to use the day to get to know each other better in a good atmosphere far away from the rush of a fair and will therefore celebrate an “Oktoberfest” on the evening of the Open House. At the Oktoberfest all participants can comfortably bring the day to an end with live music, a cold beer, delicious specialities and establish new contacts.
