Improved surface appearance of dual density direct attach soles
Release Coating 7996 is a solvent-based release agent developed to release polyether polyols typically used in manufacturing soles of safety shoes and boots. The chemistry in Release Coating 7996 aids in the production of low gloss, defect-free, dual density direct attach parts. The product is available in 55 gallon drums and 345 gallon returnable stainless steel totes. The release agent promotes:
- Dual density adhesion
- Low build up in the mould cavity – reducing cleaning efforts
- Exceptional release ease
- Lower scrap rates – consistent low gloss surface appearance
