CHINA: OCI forms joint venture with Zaokuang to build Chinese carbon black plant
The venture will build and operate an 80,000-t/y carbon black production unit in Zaozhuang, Shandong, China. Completion is expected by 2015. OCI’s wholly-owned OCI China will hold a 51% interest in the joint venture and Zaokuang, which is part of Shandong Energy Group, will hold 49%.
