BANGLADESH: Rubber board headquarters open in Chittagong
He said this while inaugurating the headquarters of Bangladesh Rubber Board in the Chandgaon residential area of Chittagong.
“Around 80 percent of the total rubber production of the country comes from Chittagong so it is logical that the board’s headquarters be established there,” he said.
The board Chairman Proshanta Bhusan Barua chaired the programme. Mirza Anwar Hossain, president of Rubber Planters’ Association; and Salimul Huq Chowdhury, vice president, were present among others.
