CHINA: Shenhua Ningxia Coal building PP unit based on CB&I's Novolen Technology
The 600,000-t/y PP unit will be the third unit at the site to use CB&I's Novolen technology and, when complete, will increase total PP capacity at the site to 1.6-million t/y. A construction schedule was not given.
"Once the third PP unit . . . is running, it will be the largest PP site in China," said Daniel McCarthy, president of CB&I's technology operating group. "This site will have the largest capacity of any of the Novolen technology licensees," he added.
