Goodyear to sell European and Latin American farm tyre business
In the past these assets had sales of more than USD 400 million annually. The deal includes Goodyear’s manufacturing plants, property, equipment, and inventories in São Paulo, Brazil, and in Amiens, France. It also includes a licensing agreement that will allow Titan to manufacture and sell Goodyear-brand farm tyres in Europe, Africa, Eastern Europe, Russia, Latin America, and North America. Titan made a similar deal in 2005, when it purchased Goodyear’s North American farm tyre business, including a plant in Freeport, IL, USA.
