LMI to present new 3D laser line sensor at Tire Technology Expo 2011
The Gocator features a built-in web server, built-in measurement tools, and rich I/O. According to LMI, it has put everything needed into the Gocator to get powerful 3D measurements without the complexity of interfacing to a conventional 3D laser line sensor.
At the expo, the company will inform about how the Gocator makes it possible for anyone to go from taking the sensor out of the box to measuring in 3D in minutes. Also, it will be demonstrating how the Gocator measures extrusions along a conveyor and a finished tyre inspection application, says LMI.
