Qingdao Okin Rubber cooperates with Qingdao University

Qingdao Okin Rubber Industry Co., Ltd. has signed a cooperation agreement with the Rubber Professional Research Institution of Qingdao University. The two parties said they will work together to research and develop new technologies and new materials in rubber and plastic sealing industry.

"Because of EPDM price rise, labor cost increase and more and more competitors, we think we need to keep improving our technology in order to get better production efficiency and product quality." said Song Zhang, CEO of Qingdao Okin Rubber. "Meantime, with the use of the new material of TPV and TPE, we know we need to do better to promote our technology, which will let us stand on the top of the rubber sealing industry. Based on the cooperation with the institution of Qingdao University, we could save some cost and improve our quality."
