Albrecht Bäumer supplies machines and equipment in the fields of cutting, converting, and transport of PU foam and similar materials. The German company offers more than 60 machines, such as contour cutting machines for mattresses and pillows, convoluters or horizontal splitting machines for mattress toppers. Fully automatic cutting lines are designed for the bedding industry and mattress production. The company also develops customer-specific solutions all the way to complete plants.

Its latest innovation is the horizontal contour cutter OFS-H Twincut, which can be run either with a circulating or an oscillating knife on the same machine frame. The CNC controlled three-axis machine with touch panel combines the advantages of the two cutting systems. The OFS-H Twincut cuts upholstery parts and mattresses with a speed of up to 40m/min by means of a circulating knife. For technical articles and automotive applications which require high accuracy the oscillating knife is used.

Another novelty is a new model of a vertical contour cutting machine with wire, the OFS-VW, which has been developed for cost-effective cutting of polyester non-woven fabric, PU foam blocks and different kinds of sheet materials. Its drive technology allows cutting speeds of up to 40m/min. In addition, the model offers simple handling of the control unit.
