JSR completes S-SBR capacity expansion in Yokkaichi
With the recent expansion, JSR’s global S-SBR manufacturing capacity now totals 90,000 t/y, including 30,000 t/y the company receives under a capacity rights agreement from Styron Europe GmbH. In addition, JSR is planning to build a new S-SBR plant in Thailand with an initial capacity of 50,000 t/y in 2013. The company plans to increase the capacity by a further 50,000 t/y in 2015 for a total of 100,000 t/y.
