RUSSIA: Lukoil’s Stavrolen suspends production after fire in ethylene portion of plant
The cause of the incident, nature and scope of damage and a date for resuming production have not yet been determined, Lukoil said.
Stavrolen has a 350,000-t/y ethylene plant, as well as facilities for the production of 300,000 t/y of polyethylene and 120,000 t/y of polypropylene.
