TSRC'S Vector plant in Nantong is online

TSRC Corporation's new 25,000 t Vector SIS plant in Nantong, China, is online. This was announced by Chris Mudd, President of Dexco Polymers, at a press conference in Shanghai on 21 April 2014.

Mudd further disclosed future investments and expansion plans of the company, among them:

  • a new control system for the Plaquemine, LA, USA, plant (2014),
  • new SEBS capacities at the Kaohsiung, Taiwan, plant (2015), and
  • a new SIS plant in Taiwan through the JV with CPC. This project includes C5 separation, isoprene monomer extraction, SIS and tackifier resins. Mudd said that the capacity of this new plant will be 30,000 t. Production start is scheduled for 2016.

Vector is a brand of Dexco Polymers. TSRC Corporation acquired Dexco in 2011.
