Shell Chemicals' new polyol reduces costs and improves performance
Caradol MD 250-10 has been developed to boost hardness in low density flexible foams without having to increase TDI content, thus reducing formulation costs. Alternatively, it can be used to reduce TDI contents without loss of foam hardness. In addition, the use of Caradol MD 250-10 can help to reduce seasonal variation in foam properties associated with changes in humidity. Available throughout Shell’s global sales network, this product is being produced at plants in Europe and Asia Pacific.
