First 100% biodegradable iPhone case uses Apinat
The iNature case is made entirely from Apinat, a bioplastic developed and produced by API. Apinat comprises grades that are fully recyclable and biodegradable in aerobic environment following EN 13432, EN 14995 and ASTM D6400 standards. The TPE material offers an exceptional high level of flexibility and softness. This kind of performance led Biomood to choose API as the partner for the production of their unique collection of biodegradable iPhone cases.
The iNature case gives off a pleasant aloe/lemon scent. The cases are available in a vast range of non-toxic biodegradable colours containing no heavy materials or other dangerous substances in line with EN standard 13432.
The iNature project aims for zero environmental impact and each part of the product is designed to be 100% biodegradable, including all packaging and display materials. The box is made from recycled cardboard and the inks are water-based so once disposed of it is totally biodegradable.
