New insulation technology for household refrigerators

Pascal technology is a combination of polyurethane insulation and efficient appliance case filling that addresses the productivity needs of manufacturers and the energy efficiency demands of consumers. Pascal technology is said to increase energy efficiency in refrigerators and freezers and to support appliance companies to meet the energy efficiency standards of governments around the world for the next 25 years.

Haier, a Dow customer for more than 20 years, announced the implementation of Pascal technology in its appliances at the World Appliance Expo where Dow provided a short informational presentation on the technology and its benefits. In the coming months, Dow will launch Pascal technology commercially.
