New solutions for PSA applications from Arkema
Nanostrength MMA and Nanostrength functionalized MMA are a family of self-assembling block copolymers that are said to offer a range of advantageous properties:
- high transparency
- UV resistance
- creep resistance
- temperature resistance
- easy, or even no need, to formulate, thanks to the presence of an intrinsically tacky soft block in the copolymer
- soluble in many solvents
- functionalizable to boost some key properties and to achieve as yet unattainable properties like reversible water absorption (M1H grade).
As a result, Nanostrength MMA can be used as adhesive in removable, high-tech optical or medical applications.
