JianXi Black Cat opens new furnace black plant in Jining

The Chinese company JiangXi Black Cat has recently opened its eighth production plant for furnace black in Jining, Shandong province. The new plant has commenced production in March 2014 with two production lines, each with 40,000 t/y capacity of highly reinforcing furnace black.

Another production line for highly reinforcing furnace black as well as a line for semi-reinforcing furnace black are expected to start up by the end of 2014. In the future, the plant will operate four lines for highly reinforcing furnace black with 40,000 t/y capacity each, and one line for semi-reinforcing furnace black, bringing the plant’s total capacity to 200,000 t/y. As the largest manufacturer of furnace black in China, JinangXi Black Cat will then have a total capacity of 1.09 million t/y.

The furnace blacks from JianXi Black Cat are exclusively distributed in Europe by the Luvomaxx business of Hamburg-based company Lehmann & Voss & Co. KG in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, and Greece.
