SPI issues Call for Presentations at the “Business of Plastics Conference” at NPE 2010

Professionals with expertise in topics of timely interest to the plastics industry will have the opportunity to address audiences in the innovative “Business of Plastics Conference” during NPE2012.

Produced by SPI (The Plastics Industry Trade Association), NPE2012 will take place on April 1-5 in Orlando, FL, U.S.A. The concurrent Business of Plastics conference will begin with a keynote presentation on Sunday, April 1 and be followed by half-day sessions on Monday through Thursday. Presenters will be expected to focus on the business implications of their topics rather than conducting a technical discussion.

"SPI is particularly interested in timely topics of broad interest to plastics professionals, such as bioplastics, sustainability, medical and healthcare markets, and issues involving regulation, safety, or industry advocacy," said Jeff Stupar, director of research at Illinois Tool Works Inc. and chairman of the NPE2012 Education Committee. "The focus will be on how these topics impact the business of attendees or how they can grow their business."
