Smithers Group takes over Pira International
Pira employs about 120 people at five facilities in the UK and the USA. The company provides strategic and technical consulting, intelligence, and events to the packaging, paper, and print industry as well as their supply chains. Through the IntertechPira brand, it provides similar services to niche, emerging and high growth industries including lighting and displays, clean energy, home and personal care, industrial biotechnology, materials and chemicals. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
