Call for Papers: DKT 2015 / IRC 2015

From 29 June – 2 July 2015, Germany will once more be the global meeting place of experts and companies of the rubber and elastomer industry. The Deutsche Kautschuk-Tagung DKT 2015 / International Rubber Conference IRC 2015 is being organised by the German rubber association Deutsche Kautschuk-Gesellschaft e. V. (DKG) under the auspices of the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO) in Nuremberg, Germany.

The Scientific Committee of DKG invites prospective authors wishing to present an oral or poster presentation at DKT 2015 / IRC 2015 to submit an abstract in English by e-mail to until 15 October 2014. A template and an example for the preparation of abstracts can be downloaded from the DKT homepage www.dkt2015.de.

The scientific programme includes the following topics:

 

  • Raw materials and compounds
  • Processing
  • Testing and analyses
  • Simulation
  • Applications
  • Scientific fundamentals
  • Sustainability
  • TPE

The official languages of the Congress are English and German. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

Call for Papers: University Session

As part of the DKT 2015 / IRC 2015 a special forum with lectures and poster presentations from young rubber and elastomer experts will be held on 30 June 2015: the “University Session”. Have you recently received a Diploma, Bachelor or Master’s Degree? Or are you working on your university degree, on your Ph.D.? Are you a young scientist in a research laboratory or at a university? Then you are cordially invited to present your final thesis, your research topic or a research project – completed with your participation – at the “University Session”. Deadline for the submission of abstracts by e-mail to is 15 October 2014.

The scientific programme includes the following topics:

  • New materials/composites
  • Crosslinking
  • Simulation and material modelling
  • Testing and characterization
  • Environmental aspects and resources
  • Biomaterials (polymers, additives)
  • Processing
