SAUDI ARABIA: Al Waha is taking steps to restart Jubail propylene, PP production
Al Waha, which has 467,000 t/y of propylene capacity and 450,000 t/y of PP capacity, was forced to shut down the facilities earlier this month (Sept. 2013) because of a technical fault in a utilities unit.
Sahara Petrochemicals noted that the PP plant of its Al Waha affiliate “till August 2013 is over the plan with production of 306,000 tons.”
